Alice Marie Scott was a phenomenal woman. She was a proud mother, a wonderful wife, and a devoted Christian. Alice lived by faith. Her love for God transcended in every thing she did. She was smart, wise, classy, and beautifully made inside and out.
Education was her calling. Alice had a great passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring kids and other educators. She excelled in educational services. She believed in helping everyone who desired to help themselves improve their lives. She had a great, caring heart. She was non-judgmental.
Unfortunately, Alice was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2021 and passed away from the illness in January 2025. We are establishing this scholarship in her name for black women who aspire to continue their education despite battling breast cancer.
